Claverley In Bloom
Claverley in Bloom is a volunteer-led project dedicated to brightening our village with beautiful floral displays, wildlife-friendly planting, and community gardening. Since 2005, the group has transformed public spaces, worked with local schools on tree-planting projects, and proudly represented Claverley in regional “In Bloom” competitions — all while bringing people together to make our village bloom.
Founded in 2005, Claverley in Bloom is a volunteer-led group dedicated to brightening our village through planting and other community activities. Our aims are to:
-
Make a positive impact on the local environment through horticultural community action.
-
Add colour and interest with floral displays, landscaping, and ornamental trees.
-
Promote a tidy, well-cared-for village appearance.
-
Provide a formal structure for like-minded residents to participate and enjoy caring for their local environment and street scene.
-
Highlight the role that gardening, growing plants, and environmental stewardship can play in people’s lives.
-
Follow the guidelines of the RHS Britain in Bloom initiative, with the option to enter the “Heart of England in Bloom” competition.
-
Support the local economy through beautification and community engagement.
